Nipanskolan

Nipanskolan is centrally located on the northern side of the Ångerman River in Sollefteå. The school has about 430 students from preschool to grade 9. We have a total of about 60 employees, including all professional categories. The school has several lead teachers, and the competence of the staff is high and valued by the school management. The school is also one of Mid Sweden University's partner schools for its teacher training.

At Nipanskolan, we continuously work with joint professional development initiatives. The professional development initiatives have had various content (SKUA, Classroom Leadership, Lesson Design), but the overarching purpose has been to develop collegial learning. During the school year 25/26, we have also worked with colleague visits.

Nipanskolan is therefore a relatively large unit that creates several advantages, including:

• a well-developed student health service with counselors, school nurses, study and career counselors, special teachers, and access to a school psychologist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

One of our physical education teachers will be on leave during the upcoming school year, and we are now looking for her substitute.

You will teach physical education and health in grades 4-7. The position involves teaching in grades 4-6 (four groups/classes) and two classes in grade 7. The position includes mentorship in grade 7, together with a colleague.

With us, you work in teams with your colleagues. In the teams, we discuss teaching and assessment of students together, how we can best support our students to reach as far as possible, and more.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified and licensed to teach the subject. However, based on the current situation in the labor market, other competencies may also be considered.

The positions are filled subject to the necessary decisions.

OTHER

In Sollefteå Municipality, a number of positions are classified in security class according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For those positions, security clearance is included in the hiring process.
